NoCase is not a case. Its a set of motherboard and GPU mounting brackets, for you to DIY your own case around

So many of us want to make our own case but dont know where to begin, and then get lost in trying to read the specs and figure out tolerances.

The NoCase diy kit takes care of a lot of these tolerances for you. The motherboard mount has standoffs built in in the correct locations for the motherboard to interface with the IO cutout properly. The GPU mount is rigid, and secures a dual slot flanged video card in 3 points.

The kit supports the 3 popular SFF layouts: the traditional where the GPU mounts directly into the motherboard, sandwich, and console, but you have to supply and design around your own PCIE cable. There is however no need to stop at these layouts, as the brackets do not attach to each other. This lets the case layout possibilities be infinite.

Traditional

The GPU bracket has a remove-able pinch plate for the pcie fingers. Without this plate, it can slot into the motherboard mount. This allows the GPU to be mounted directly into the motherboard with no pcie riser cable

Sandwich

The two brackets do not attach to each other, it is up to you to design a structure that these brackets will bolt to. The sandwich layout is an SFF classic, and with the pinch plate the GPU is well supported.

Since the GPU mount is not as tall as the motherboard mount, you can bias the GPU up or down however you think is best.

Console

The Motherboard and GPU brackets are of equal width, allowing them to easily arrange in a console layout.

It is likely difficult to 3d print this, as it will exceed common printer dimensions, but laser cutting acrylic or wood does not have these limitations.

Download Models

The 3d models of these brackets will be available for you in STEP format. You can download and import them into your CAD software to design your case easily around them. Please allow 0.2mm tolerance around the parts for powdercoat thickness.

Please understand that the models are likely to change slightly between now and release, as they are tweaked with learnings from prototypes.
